Canceled - Second Saturday Talk

This Saturday, August 10, join us at The Newberry Museum for our “Second Saturday Talk” with our Executive Director, Steven Kanpp as he presents the “Newberry's African-American Soldiers of the Civil War.” Learn about the creation of the first African-American regiments in the Union Army, the complex road to freedom, and Newberry County's own African-American veterans of the Civil War.

This presentation coincides with our current exhibit, The Toll of War.

The presentations will be held on August 10 at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM with a Question & Answer session to follow immediately after.
