Our Festival of Trees exhibit is now OPEN!

This festive exhibit will showcase tribute trees themed with narratives of both historic relevance and holiday cheer. With over a dozen trees ranging in size from 10 feet tall to a table top feather tree, each tree’s design has been researched and developed to visually expand the story it represents. All the themes are directly related to Newberry—City, County, and College—with the exception of our “Rudolph” tree in the Children's Exhibit.

Also, The Newberry Museum will be celebrating its fifth anniversary this year! Our largest trees will focus on the adaptive re-use of our museum’s historic building, the “Taylor” Building. This impressive structure began as a United States Post Office in 1911; later the Newberry-Saluda Regional Library in 1968; and now The Newberry Museum which opened on December 15, 2019.

The exhibit will run until January 11, 2025. The Museum's normal operating hours are Tuesday - Saturday from 10am - 4pm, and we hope to see you this holiday season!
