About the Event

Join us at The Newberry Museum for our “Second Saturday Talk” with Ernie Shealy as he gives a presentation on “The Language of Flowers.” Meanings have long since been attributed to flowers for thousands of years, either to send one’s emotional feeling for the receiver or to communicate a cryptic message between both parties involved.  As Valentine’s Day approaches what flowers will you send?

The presentations will be held on Saturday, February 8 at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. with a Question & Answer session to follow immediately after.

Museum Admission and Presentation are FREE.
